Inspired by Matthew 5:13 — “You are the salt of the earth,” Salty Baby exists to bring goodness, flavor, and care into everyday moments. Salt preserves. Salt enhances. Salt brings things to life. That’s exactly what I hope each loaf does when it finds its way to your table.

My passion for sourdough began alongside my sister, where hours in the kitchen turned into a shared love for the slow, intentional craft of bread-making. Though our paths have since grown in different directions, those beginnings shaped the heart behind Salty Baby and taught me how powerful it is to create something meaningful together.

As I stepped into this new chapter, I’ve been endlessly supported by my husband, Samuel—his encouragement, belief, and steady presence making this dream possible in more ways than I can count.

I come from a family that shows love through food. Baking, cooking, and sharing meals have always been how we gather, connect, and care for one another. One of the very first people I ever saw love this way was my grandmother. She never, ever let me go hungry—and in that, I always knew I was deeply loved.

Salty Baby is my way of continuing that legacy. Every loaf is naturally fermented, thoughtfully crafted, and made to be shared—because bread has a way of bringing people together, even when words fall short.
